What are your shipping cutoff times:
Please note that under normal circumstances most orders will ship within 24-48 hours after it is placed. We do our best to process ALL orders the same day, however we indicate 24-48 hours in anticipation of any shipping delays. Please note, Speedtech R/C is closed on Wednesdays. All orders placed on Wednesday will be processed the next business day.
Also, Speedtech R/C may be closed on certain event dates (ie. national races, conventions, etc). Please check the HOME page for closure updates. Your order will then be processed on the following business day.
How do I place an Order:
The new Speed Tech R/C website is a completely customized structure designed specifically for our needs. It's easy to navigate, and absolutely 100% secured. Feel free to browse through our categorized website and when you see an item that you want to purchase, simply click on the "buy now" button, and that item will be added to your shopping cart, you can also click on the “more info” button to get more information on the specific product. If you want more than one quantity, simply entered the number of quantity for the item you want in the quantity text box before you click the "buy" button. You can also increase the quantity after the item is already in your shopping cart, or to remove an item, change the quantity to zero. Hit the “recalculate” button to see the new total and quantities. Hit the “continue shopping” button and it will take you back to where you were last. The shopping cart will keep track of all of your purchases and the quantity you want.
You can also check your total with different types of shipping before check out by using the estimated shipping box. Select the type of shipping you are interested in and hit “Calculate” to see the total.
You can check what is in your shopping cart at any given time by clicking the “shopping cart” link in the upper right corner in the header.
How to finish the order:
When you are ready to check out and finish your purchase, click on the “Check out” button and it will take you to the billing and shipping information page on our secured server. Fill out all fields with the red “ * “ Once you fill out all the fields, please click the “continue” button to go on to the next step. For international customers, make sure under “State” you select “Not In US” so our system will pull up a list of countries for you to select. There is also a “Order Comments and Special Request” section if you need to type any message to us.
The 2nd step you will be selecting the type of shipping method you would like to use: Standard = UPS Ground, UPS 2nd day air, UPS Next day Air, or International. Please note that Next Day Air orders placed on a Friday will be delivered the Following Monday (2nd day air on Thursday will be delivered on the following Monday as well) Please call for quote and availability of Saturday Delivery. Please note the ship rates are for US domestic customers only. International customers: we will contact you individually once we received your order with the shipping quote by USPS EMS (Express Mail) which will vary depending on the weight of the package. The 3rd step is for you to look over the order and make sure everything is correct. If you noticed anything you need to change, please click the “back” button to make any necessary changes. If everything looks good, click the “Create Order” button and the order will be processed. Please note to only click the "Create Order" button after you make sure you're ready to finalize the order. Once the "Create Order" button is clicked, we will see the order in our database and begin processing. Once you click on “Create Order” you will be taken to the next page to input in your credit card information. You can also select payment via paypal. International customers: If you wish to pay by paypal, complete the paypal payment process and we will contact you via email with the shipping rate for your particular order, you will then make a second payment by paypal for shipping.
Please Note: Your credit card is not charged when you place the order online. We run the transaction manually in our office after we verified that everything is in stock.
How do I know when the order is shipped?
Once your order is shipped, we will send an email containing the tracking number for your package. You can then check the package's arrival date and status at: www.ups.com (or www.usps.com for our international customers). We will also be contacting you by email or phone if something is out of stock or if something is wrong with your order. So please keep close contact with us through email until you receive the tracking number email.
How long does it take before I receive my order?
By UPS ground, the package usually take 5-7 business days (however, states closer to us might receive their package less than 5 days and sometimes in 2-3 days) excluding weekends. Please note that normally the order is shipped the same day, but it can take any where from 24-48 Hours before the order is shipped. International customers using EMS shipping method can expect to see the package in 4-5 business days assuming no delays caused by custom. Please note that Next Day Air orders placed on a Friday will be delivered the Following Monday (2nd day air on Thursday will be delivered on the following Monday as well) Please call for quote and availability of Saturday Delivery.
To pay for an order with PayPal:
Our new website now supports paypal payment. For domestic customers, place the order as you normally would following the instructions above, and select payment by paypal in the 3rd step of the ordering process. International customers: If you wish to pay by paypal, complete the paypal payment process and we will contact you via email with the shipping rate for your particular order, you will then make a second payment by paypal for shipping.
I'm an international customer, how do I place an order?
Place an order following the instructions above, and instead of UPS, we will be shipping your package by USPS (United States Postal Service). We use USPS EMS (Express Mail Service) as our international carrier, which is safer and quicker than regular air mail. EMS includes tracking number, and insurance on every package. Shipping charge will vary depending on the weight and size of the package, usually it ranges from $25.99 (for small parts order) to $45.99 (for car kits or heavy parts) and $69.99 for large car kits. Please note that the ship rates on our website are by UPS and they are for US domestic customers only! Please select international shipping EMS when placing your order. UPS shipping time (ex: 2nd day air, Next day air) does NOT apply to international orders. Our sales representative will be contacting you shortly via email after you place your order with shipping cost. We also require the following before we process an international order if it exceeds a certain value:
* A fax or scan copy of your photo ID * A fax or scan copy of your credit card with name matching the ID
International customers: If you wish to pay by paypal, complete the paypal payment process and we will contact you via email with the shipping rate for your particular order, you will then make a second payment by paypal for shipping.
What if an item is out of stock?
Our policy is NO BACKORDERS! We ask kindly to check our website often for items that are out of stock for which you are interested in. The out of stock item will not be shipped to you once it has arrived. You will have to place a separate new order for the items that were out of stock. This policy is to help speed up the order processing to ensure our customer gets what they need quickly and minimize any confusion during the ordering process. On a rare occasion if an item happens to run out at the time of your order, you be contacted first before the order is processed.
What if something I want to order is not listed on the website?
We list 95% of the products we stock in the warehouse on our website, so if there is something you're looking for and you don't see it on the website, we apologize that is an item most likely we don't carry. We are constantly researching and adding new products to our website, so if you don't see something, please check back again. Please note: due to the over abundant amount of request, we no longer special order items beyond what is currently listed on our website. Thank you for your understanding.
Alternative Shipping methods:
Please note that we use UPS (and USPS EMS for international) as our shipping carrier for the safest delivery of your package. No other shipping methods will be available for substitute. We no longer ship by USPS Priority Mail (unless under special circumstances (i.e. APO, FPO addresses)
